The Process

All Delft Blue Porcelain articles are fully imported from "The Netherlands, therefore it is important that the initial process is explained, so that we get it right for you first time.

From your initial enquiry we will come and make a presentation to you. Once you have made a decision in our favour, it takes 6 weeks approximately from production to delivery to your door.

All further instructions take approximately 3 weeks, as all the component parts will be in place and held by the Dutch Manufacturer.

Step 1 - Artwork

After the initial presentation and your agreement to proceed, the putting together the Artwork to ensure that there is a clear "Branding & Recognition" of the Client is important. Therefore the availability of Photographs/Graphics/Print & Font size (Letter-Heads) that firmly identify the Client are paramount.

We do request that you sign the initial instruction, thereby ensuring that both parties are mutually agreed on a course of action.

Step 2 - Wording

The same applies with the reverse side or bottom of any article. It is important that the wording again reflects the message that the Client wishes to have placed as it will be a permanent reminder to the recipient of the value you place on their custom.

Step 3 - Signed Instruction

Once step 1 & 2 have been completed the material is sent to The Netherlands for their Artists to draw up. This is then submitted (by Fax) back to you for you to endorse with your Signature, once you agree that the Artwork is correct. Or if there are additions/errors then these are corrected and re-submitted to you for your signature.

Step 4 - Manufacturing

We only manufacture to order and do not hold stocks on your behalf. Therefore your order is treated as important to us in ensuring that before production takes place. All the above steps are in place, once agreed we then produce and despatch to you.

NB: For all future orders/instructions and as we hold the Artwork (which remains your Copyright) all we require is a signed order form which we will email to you as and when required.

Step 5 - Delivery

Deliveries are made with notice given in advance of the date & time, thus enabling you to a) take receipt and b) check that there are no breakages etc. Should there be breakages then you deduct from the invoice the article's price.

We will ensure that there are extra items included in the order, to cover such things as breakages. If this is the case then you will have that additional amount, but if there are no breakages then we will charge you accordingly for the actual amount delivered.

Step 6 - Payment

No payments or deposits are required in advance, but payment will be due 30 days from date of invoice and after delivery of your order. As there is NO VAT applied to your order, we do expect that prompt payment be made.
